MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking extension of furlough leave, which was granted by the jail authorities, for four weeks in FIR No.215 dated 22.06.2010 under Sections 148, 149, 302, 307, 449, 216, 120-B of the IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of The Arms Act registered at Police Station City Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar, to enable him to get his surgery done.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is due to surrender back on 18.05.2025 after completion of his furlough period.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would duly surrender back on 18.05.2025, however, his prayer made by way of this petition, be ordered to be decided expeditiously by the official respondents. 4.

In view of the prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.3-Superintendent, Central Jail, Hisar, that in case on surrender on 18.05.2025, the petitioner moves an application for extension of furlough period, the same shall be looked into and decided within the next ten days in accordance with the rules.
