Advocate General, Punjab. **** SHEEL NAGU, CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral) The petitioner apprehends his arrest in respect of offences punishable under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code (Section 411 IPC added later on) in FIR No. 26 dated 08.03.2024 registered at Police Station Sultanwind, District Amritsar.

The allegation is of theft of car and the petitioner appears to be a member of gang against whom recovery has been made and the petitioner has no other criminal antecedents as per the statement made by learned State counsel.

The petitioner is stated to have joined investigation pursuant to the order dated 30.07.2024 whereby the petitioner was granted interim anticipatory bail by this Court. Even the status report filed by the State also does not disclose that petitioner has not cooperated in the investigation. 4.

In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of by continuing and confirming the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 30.07.2024 on the same terms and conditions.
