This public interest litigation (PIL) has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to investigate the establishment and functioning of petrol pump in favour of respondent no.7.

The petitioner has already filed a civil suit as informed by the learned State counsel bearing CIS No.CS-45 of 2025. The said civil suit appears to have been filed much prior to the filing of this petition and yet there is no such disclosure about the institution and pendency of the civil suit in paragraph no.3 of the notes appended to the index. 3.
