Apprehending threat to his life and liberty at the hands of the private respondent(s) and seeking directions to respondent No.2, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of mandamus.

Counsel for the private respondent submits that since the representations (Annexures P-1 and P-2) have already been decided, as such the present petition is rendered infructuous.

On this, counsel for the State submits that they never received any representations (Annexures P-1 and P-2), however, earlier a complaint was filed, which has already been decided.

However, counsel for the petitioner submits that he wants to withdraw the present petition with liberty reserved to avail legal remedies in accordance with law. 5.
