(Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to re-designate the petitioner from the post of Assistant Professor to Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry with effect from 10.03.2025, the date on which the petitioner had become eligible for redesignation in accordance with the Haryana Medical Education Service (Amendment) Rules, 2007, along with all consequential benefits. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.1 is directed to decide the pending representation, dated 11.03.2025, Annexure P-4, in a specified period. 3.

Notice of motion.

Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits that the pending representation, dated 11.03.2025, will be decided by respondent no.1PAYAL 2025.05.21 09:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof. In case the petitioner is found entitled to the benefits claimed, she will be given promotion from the due date with all consequential benefits within a period of four weeks therefrom.

In case the order is not passed within the stipulated period, the officer concerned shall pay costs of ₹50,000 to the petitioner.
