Prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for quashing the impugned award dated 27.11.2012 (Annexure P-7) passed by learned Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Patiala.

In pursuance of order dated 11.09.2023, learned counsel for respondent No.2 has brought a demand draft bearing No.897276, dated 10.10.2023 amounting to Rs.7,00,000/- in the name of Sanjeev Kumar (petitioner/workman), drawn on HDFC Bank and the same has been handed over to learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner in the Court today itself. A photocopy thereof is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. 3.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that upon encashment of the said demand draft, all the claims of the petitioner against HIMANI GUPTA 2023.10.17 12:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition. 5.

In view of the above submission of learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 6.
