**** %  (( * $   Present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for directing the respondents to correct the date of birth in the passport of petitioner which has wrongly been mentioned due to wrong entry in the date of birth Certificate, as per Circular No.VI/401/2/5/2001 dated 18.04.2001, issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.

At the outset, it has been pointed by the learned counsel for petitioner that new passport with changed date of birth has been issued by respondent no.2 and thus, the present writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of above, writ petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
