The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner at the hands of respondent No.5 and take appropriate legal action against him in accordance with law.

Learned counsel contends that the marriage of the petitioner was solemnized with respondent No.5 and two sons were born out of the said wedlock, who are residing in Canada, however, she has been harassed and tortured and has now been thrown out of the house, whereafter from 05.06.2023 to 08.06.2023 she remained in Women Centre, Ambala.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 02.06.2023, Annexure P-3 submitted by her.
