(Oral) The petitioner was statedly running an industrial unit on the land measuring 03 kanal 17 marla, situated within the revenue estate of village Mangalpur, Tehsil and District Karnal, which he purchased vide sale deed dated 13.08.1999. He was statedly manufacturing 'Soap' and 'Detergent' in the said Unit. The aforesaid land was included in a big chunk of land acquired by the State of Haryana in the year 2002-2004 for the development of residential and commercial Sectors 9, 32 and 33 Part, Karnal. The petitioner alleges that his land has not been utilized for any 'public purpose' and is still lying un-utilized.

Earlier the claim of similarly placed land-owners for the release of their un-utilized land was rejected on the plea that the above-mentioned Sectors are being developed. Since the petitioner is said to have represented the authorities with a specific plea that his land under acquisition has not been utilized for MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.07.

CWP No.13908 of 2016 [2] any public purpose; he has not received any compensation so far and he wants to run his industrial unit at the subject-site, let the petitioner's claim re: release of land be decided by the respondents by way of a reasoned order, within a period of four months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, however without expressing any views on merits. Dasti.
