Petitioner - Ravi Kumar has filed petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.0012 dated 07.03.2024, under Sections 406, 498-A of IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Women, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar. 2.
Petitioner was granted interim bail by the Coordinate Bench vide order dated 05.06.2024, relevant part of which is as under:- "

Learned counsel for petitioner pointed out that petitioner has already joined the investigation. Even the matter has been settled between the parties before Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and terms of settlement are dated 07.01.2025. Petitioner is still ready to abide by the terms of bail order.

Learned counsel representing State has already filed status report. It is confirmed that petitioner has joined the investigation. 5.
Bail petition filed by petitioner is not opposed by learned counsel representing complainant on account of settlement arrived at between the parties.

In view of the aforesaid factual position, no purpose would be served by sending the petitioner behind the bars. Therefore, without going on merits of the case, interim bail already granted in favour of petitioner - Ravi Kumar vide order dated 05.06.2024 stands confirmed, subject to the conditions as enshrined under Section 438(2) of Cr.P.C. 7.
Petition is accordingly allowed. 8.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly as well.
