In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the judgment dated 26.03.2014 (Annexure P-3) and order dated 17.06.2014 (Annexure P-5) passed by the Tribunal and for quashing of impugned Clause 7 of the clarificatory letter dated 09.03.2013, whereby, counting of past service rendered by the Exserviceman for the purpose of qualifying service and claim for relaxation in upper age limit was rejected.
