(ORAL) The petitioner herein who was initially appointed as Home Guard seeks re-employment to the said post by relying upon an appointment letter that has been given to one Ajit Singh son of Chanan Singh whose services were terminated along with the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner has already served a legal notice on 21.02.2017 (Annexure P-5), however, to date the said legal notice of the petitioner has not been decided. At the present moment, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner limits his prayer to an early consideration and decision in the legal notice dated 21.02.2017 (Annexure P-5) served by the petitioner upon the respondents.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 21.02.2017 (Annexure Satyawan 2017.05.17 16:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
