The petitioner has prayed for quashing of the notice dated 09.07.2015, debarring him to appear in the All India Pre-Medical/PreDental Test-2015 (AIPMT-2015), scheduled to be held on 25.07.2015. Shorn of unnecessary details, it would be apt to mention that the petitioner is one of those students who had been identified by the Rohtak Police, using unfair means in the examination of AIPMT-2015, conducted by the CBSE on 03.05.2015.

Although counsel for the petitioner has argued that before passing the impugned order, no opportunity of hearing was given to the petitioner, but at the same time, it is also not disputed that the entire result of the AIPMT-2015 was set at naught by the Apex Court because some of the students had used unfair means at the time of taking exam and in the said list, the petitioner is also included by the investigating agency. In view thereof, I do not find any merit in the present petition and hence, the same is hereby dismissed, though without any order as to costs.
