This writ petitioners have filed this writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, for quashing of the final select list dated 03.09.2020, prepared pursuant to the recruitment notice dated 20.06.2019.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission had issued a recruitment notice dated 20.06.2019, inviting the applications for direct recruitment on 4858 posts of Clerks of Group "C". The writ petitioners herein claim that as per the OMR sheet and the answer keys, they ought to have secured following marks in the written examination and for Socioeconomics criteria: Sr. No. Name of Petitioner with category & Roll Number Marks Obtained as per OMR Sheet + Socio Economics Cut off marks as per final selection result.

Mr. Samarth Sagar, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, who has put in appearance on behalf of the respondents, pursuant to service of advance notice of the writ petitioner, has pointed out that in this case, record of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission is required to be examined and hence, this Court may permit the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, to consider the case of the writ petitioners and decide the same by passing a speaking order after affording an opportunity of hearing to them through video conferencing.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, it is considered appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, to treat this writ petition as a representation on behalf of the writ petitioners and decide the same after reexamining the record. It is expected that the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, will pass a speaking order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioners through video conferencing within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
