(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 6 to implement the report/recommendation letter No.499/Comp, dated 08.08.2023 and initiate action against respondent No.7- Avtar Singh, as recommended. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities at the first instance. 3.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
