Admission to LL.B. Three Years course for the year 2015 is based upon the entrance examination conducted by the University on 21.06.2015, in which the petitioner had applied through online application in the general category. The petitioner qualified the entrance exam with 122.60 marks and placed at Sr. No.349 in the merit list. It is alleged that the petitioner belongs to Backward Class category, but at the time when he had applied for admission, he was not in possession of the Backward Class certificate and had, thus, entered his category as "General", but now after procuring the Backward Class certificate on 16.07.2015, this petition has been filed for seeking direction to the respondents to consider his claim in the Backward Class category. There is no dispute that the entrance examination was held on 21.06.2015 and the petitioner had applied in General category because by

Thus, there is hardly any reason to issue any kind of mandamus to the respondents.

Consequently, the present writ petition is hereby dismissed being denuded of any merit.
