Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to count the service rendered by the petitioner as Teacher in A.D.S. High School (Primary Section) from 06.12.1978 to 31.10.1988, towards pensionary benefits and to revise the pension by taking into account her entire service from 06.12.1978 to 30.11.2008 with respondent No.4, as qualifying service and also grant her interest @ 12% per annum on the pending arrears. 2.
The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The situation was not different even on the last date of hearing. It appears that neither the petitioner nor her counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
