(Oral) Petitioner has sought a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondents No.1 to 4 to provide requisite information to him. Petitioner is an Ex-Municipal Councillor of Municipal Committee at Dabwali. He moved an application to the council to provide him information as to what development works had been undertaken in Ward No.18. The matter went up to the State Information Commission which directed the SPIO to afford an opportunity of inspecting the record to the petitioner and supply certified copies of the information. Subsequently, notice, Annexure P-9, was issued by the State Commission stating that penal action shall be taken in case order was not complied with within 15 days.

Stand of respondents No.3 and 4 before this court is that all necessary information has been supplied to the petitioner. Petitioner, however, submits that the information is still not complete. Sukhpreet Kaur 2017.07.25 15:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

It is inexplicable why petitioner is not satisfied with the information supplied by the authorities. The order passed by the State Commissioner shows that he was given an opportunity to inspect the record as well. It has been informed that the petitioner did inspect the record thereafter.

This court does not find the necessity of issuing any further direction Under the circumstances, no ground to interfere in the writ jurisdiction is made out.

Dismissed.
