(ORAL) Grievance of the petitioner herein is that it was only in the year 2019 that he came to know that while his counter parts, appointed as Zilledars, were accorded the benefit of higher pay-scale and allowances, while the petitioner was given lesser pay and allowances. Pursuant thereto, petitioner issued a legal notice dated 10.06.2019 (Annexure P-4), which was not adverted. Hence, the instant writ petition for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to provide pay scale as well as admissible allowance to petitioner during the period of 16 months for training under selected Zilledar.

Concededly, the petitioner was initially appointed as Zilledar on 09.08.2014 and is now seeking benefit qua 16 months period of training undergone by him. Later on, he earned further promotion as Assistant Revenue Clerk, then Canal Patwari-in-charge in the subsequent years. It is too belated at this stage to seek benefit of pay anomaly, if at all, which allegedly existed way back in the year 2011. That too, for a short duration when the petitioner was imparted training with his counter parts.

On a Court query, learned State counsel submits that as on today, the petitioner is getting equal pay and allowances equivalent to his counter parts on the post on which the petitioner is currently working. 4.

In the premise, no ground for interference by this Court is made out.
