The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 09.02.2017 (Annexure P-7) whereby Industrial Tribunal has answered the reference in favour of the workman. 2.
The respondent is an ex-employee of the petitioner. He was dismissed from service. On his application, the matter was referred to Industrial Tribunal which vide impugned award dated 09.02.2017 held him entitled to reinstatement with full back wages. 3.
Mr.Jaskirat Singh Bhogal, counsel for respondent No.1 submits that grievance of the workman would be redressed if this Court awards lump sum compensation.

Considering the last drawn salary, efflux of time and statement of both sides, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the petitioner to pay a lump sum of Rs.2 lakhs to respondent-workman within 08 weeks from today failing which it would be liable to pay interest @ 12% per annum.
