The prayer embodied in the instant writ petition appertains to setting aside the order dated 05.07.2022 (Annexure P-15), whereby, the respondent No.2 has dismissed the petitioner's appeal, as filed against the order dated 19.02.2021 (Annexure P-6) passed by the respondent No.3. 2.
Today, during the course of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from his client who is present in the Court, fairly submits that, although the petitioner has every intention to change the name of his Association to a name, which carries no resemblance to the name of the respondent No.6-Haryana State Handball Association, however, he cannot be restrained from using the words "Haryana" and "Handball" in the new name of his Association. He further submits that, the petitioner is ready to, in order to get his Association registered under a new name, take all the requisite measures, whether it be DEVINDER YADAV 2025.03.28 09:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-16273-2022 (O&M) passing a resolution and applying before the District Registrar concerned. Not only this, the petitioner will also amend the memorandum and bylaws of his Association as per the HRRS Act, 2012. 3.
Finally, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is ready and willing even to swear an affidavit before the District Registrar concerned to the effect that, he will not, in any proceedings, claim his Association to be the successor of the respondent No.6-Haryana State Handball Association.

On account of the fair and bona fide submissions made by the petitioner through his counsel, the impugned order does not require any interference. The instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to, within seven days from today, approach the District Registrar concerned, by fulfilling all the requisite formalities, for change of existing name of his Association. In case the petitioner does so, the District Registrar concerned shall, within fifteen days thereafter, register the petitioner Association with the new name. 5.
