The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 24 dated 17.04.2024, registered under Section 379-B of Indian Penal Code, at Police Station Bholath, District Kapurthala.

At the outset, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has been named by the co-accused in the disclosure statement and the child from whom the phone was snatched has already identified the petitioner from photographs shown to him. Hence, as the recovery is yet to be done, the grant of anticipatory bail may kindly be declined. 3.
Faced with these situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further, at this stage.
