**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the claim of the petitioner is for the release of the medical reimbursement to the tune of `5,14,189/- alongwith interest.
As per the averments made in the writ petition, petitioner suffered a cardiac pain on 18.11.2018 and it was a case of emergency and he was admitted in a private hospital in New Delhi wherein he was administered medical aid and during the said medical treatment, petitioner spent an amount of `5,14,189/-. After being discharged from the Hospital, petitioner had submitted the bills for the reimbursement of the same, but no action has been taken by the respondents so far for the release of the bills.
Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, petitioner has submitted a NARESH KUMAR 2019.07.09 11:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CWP-17644-2019 -2representation dated 20.12.2018 (Annexure P-4) with the respondents, which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representation. In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 20.12.2018 (Annexure P-4) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months.
Present writ petition stands disposed of.
