HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J.(ORAL) In the present petition, petitioner is praying for a direction to Deputy Commissioner, Moga (respondent No.2) for the issuance of a fresh Arms Licence in the category of Aspiring shooter. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the petitioner has participated in various tournaments and has also been successful in wining positions, the petitioner applied for the Arms Licence in the category of Aspiring shooter, which prayer of the petitioner is still pending consideration with respondent No.2 and hence a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to grant the Arms Licence to the petitioner in the category of Aspiring shooter.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already filed an application before respondent No.2 dated 04.08.2020 (Annexure P-9) and two representations dated 03.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) and 15.09.2020 (Annexure P-11) and the said application NARESH KUMAR 2020.10.06 19:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CWP-16342-2020 and representations are pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the said application and representations by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Ms. Lavanya Paul, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State.
Learned counsel for the respondents raises no objection with regard to the prayer of the petitioner for deciding applications dated 04.08.2020 (Annexure P-9) and 03.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) and the representation dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure P-11) respectively in a time bound manner.
Without commenting upon the merits of the case or about the entitlement of the petitioner for the relief which has been claimed by him in the application dated 04.08.2020 (Annexure P-9) and representation dated 03.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) as well as the representation dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure P-11) respectively, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the application dated 04.08.2020 (Annexure P-9) and representation dated 03.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) and the representation dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure P-11) within a period of six weeks from the receipt of copy of this order.
