(Oral) The petitioner is aggrieved of the impugned order dated 30.03.2017 (Annexure P-1), whereby, the District Collector had remanded the matter to SDM-cum-Assistant Collector- Grade-I, Zira for making inquiry whether the munadi was correctly done in the village or not and the appeal along with interim application dated 26.04.2017 had been filed before the Commissioner, Ferozepur.

However, during the course of hearing, Mr.R.S.Sekhon, Advocate has brought to the notice of this Court that in pursuance to the remand order dated 30.03.2017 (Annexure P-1), the SDM had ordered for fresh proclamation.

I am of the view that pursuing appeal along with interim application would be a farcical exercise as a fresh cause of action had accrued to the petitioner, in essence, no useful purpose would be served in issuing a direction to the Commissioner for deciding the interim application Savita 2017.06.02 09:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh
