JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner, who is working as Principal at Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Jandhawala, District Bathinda in the Education Department, Punjab, by filing this writ petition, has sought for issuance of a writ of Certiorari for quashing order dated 10.7.2015 (P.6) vide which he has been transferred to GSSS, Mandi Kalan Bathinda apart from impugning order dated 30.6.2015 (P.4) and dated 10.7.2015 (P.5).

This Court, while issuing notice of motion on 28.7.2015, had ordered to maintain status quo.

A short affidavit dated 08.10.2015 of Sh. Gurdip Singh, Special Secretary to Govt of Punjab, Deptt of School Education on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 5 has been filed stating that the impugned transfer order of the petitioner has since been cancelled vide order dated 5.8.2015 (R.1/IT) thereby rendering the present petition as infructuous.

CWP No.15208 of 2015 #2# Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the said fact.

In view of the aforesaid, present writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
