....Respondents BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. PPS Duggal, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. Yatinder Sharma, Addl. A.G. Punjab.
Mr. Sanjiv Gupta, Advocate for respondents no. 5 to 8. RAJAN GUPTA J.
CWP No. 15911 of 2014 Petitioner has prayed for writ in the nature of mandamus to direct official respondents to take action against private respondents in view of relevant provisions of Punjab Municipal Act, 1911.
At the outset, learned State counsel has pointed out that needful has already been done. Notice, Annexure R1 has been issued to respondents no. 5 to 8 directing them to remove illegal encroachment within seven days failing which same would be demolished.
In view of stand taken by the State, I feel that no cause of action survives in this petition. Same has been rendered infructuous. Disposed of.
C.M. No. 13444-CWP of 2014 Since main writ petition has already been disposed of, no order needs to be passed in this application. January 08, 2015 (RAJAN GUPTA) Ajay JUDGE AJAY KUMAR 2015.01.09 16:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
