The petitioner is aggrieved at rejection of her nomination for Gram Panchayat election.

The election is scheduled to be held on 24.01.2016 and it is too late at this stage to call upon the respondents to adjudicate the issue raised by the petitioner moreso when she had got the efficacious alternative remedy to file the election petition. (3)
The instant writ petition is disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to institute the election petition, if so advised, however, keeping in view all the attending circumstances, the Election Tribunal is directed to ensure that the election petition, if so filed, is decided within six months. (4)
