IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRR(F)-553-2018 Decided on :04.02.2020 Suman & anr.

...... Petitioners

Versus

Parveen ...... Respondent CORAM : HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE MANJARI NEHRU KAUL Present :

Mr. Sandeep Thakan, Advocate for the petitioners.

**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.

Instant revision petition is filed against the judgment and order dated 03.07.2018 vide which District Judge (Family Court) Bhiwani partly allowed the petition filed by the petitioners under Section 127 C.PC. Family Court, Bhiwani on the basis of the salary certificate (Ex.P-3) of the respondent-husband and other documents, which were placed on record by the petitioners awarded a sum of Rs.6,500/- (Rs.4,000/- to petitioner No.1 and Rs.2,500/- to petitioner No.2) per month as maintenance to the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has vehemently urged that the amount of maintenance awarded by the Court below is meager and hence, the same may be enhanced to Rs.20,000/- (Rs.10,000/- each) to the petitioners due to high cost of living.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and gone through the impugned judgment passed by the Court below. SONIA BURA 2020.02.06 10:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document chandigarh

CRR(F)-553-2018 -2It is an admitted case of the petitioners themselves that the salary of the respondent is Rs.21,402/- per month and in the circumstances, an amount of Rs.6,500/- per month to the petitioners is adequate and does not warrant any interference.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed. (MANJARI NEHRU KAUL) JUDGE 04.02.2020 sonia Whether speaking/reasoned:
