...Respondents
CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR
Present:
Mr. Harmender Goswami, Advocate, for the petitioners.
**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners herein contends that the issue involved in the instant writ petition is covered by the judgment rendered by this court in Civil Writ Petition No.2371 of 2010 titled as 'Harbans Lal vs. State of Punjab and others', decided on 31.08.2010 (Annexure P-8).
Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners herein seeking the same benefit, served a legal notice dated 27.02.2017 (Annexure P-13) upon the respondents, which is still pending consideration. It is also contended that a resolution has already been taken by respondent No.3 in this regard, which is dated 11.05.2016 (Annexure P-11), which is pending approval with respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioners limits his prayer that directions may be issued to the respondents to decide legal notice dated 27.02.2017 (Annexure P-13) served by the petitioners upon the respondents as expeditiously as possible. Notice of motion.
