Mr.P.S.Khurana, Advocate for the petitioners. **** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners, who are Emergency Medical Officers in the respondent-University, are seeking the benefit under the Assured Career Progression scheme. He further contends that the petitioners have sent a legal notice (Annexure P-6) in this regard. He also contends that he would be satisfied if this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the legal notice (Annexures P-6) in accordance with law. Issue notice to respondents.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. T.P.S. Chawla, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the legal notice (Annexures P-6) in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
