Mr. V.S. Punia, Advocate, for respondent No.4. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner by way of present petition prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus seeking release of detenue namely Poonam, who is alleged to be in illegal detention of respondents No.4 and 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner expresses apprehension that life of the alleged detenue may be in danger.
Learned State counsel submits that the alleged detenue namely Poonam is living with her mother at present and there is no danger to her life.
Learned counsel appearing for respondents No. 4 submits that Poonam has also filed a petition under Section 12 of the Hindu Marriage Act seeking annulment of marriage at Sangrur.
In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Dismissed.
