G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Prayer made in the present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents for carrying out the correction in the date of birth of the petitioner in matriculation certificate from 05.12.1995 to 05.01.1994 as per the certificate issued by the Registrar, Births and Deaths. Counsel submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to take a decision on the representation dated 01.05.2015 (Annexure P-4), which he has served, within a time bound frame.

Accordingly, keeping in view the limited relief sought and without commenting on the merits of the case and the issue of limitation, this Court does not feel necessary to call upon the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 1 to take into consideration representation dated 01.05.2015 (Annexure P-4) and decide the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
