***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Affidavit of Ashwanit Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Investigation), District Tarn Taran, has been filed in court today. Same is taken on record. Learned State counsel submits that detenue namely Gagandeep @ Gagan @ Charanjeet was taken in custody pursuant to FIR No.177/2017 under Sections 302/307/506/379-B/148 and 149 IPC and Sections 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act and, at present, he is confined at Central Jail, Amritsar. He has referred to Para 03 of the affidavit to contend that the alleged detenue is involved in 15 other cases. In view of the above, present petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
