Learned counsel for the U.T. Chandigarh submits that statement of alleged detenue namely Geeta has been recorded. She is residing with one Raju of her own free will. According to learned counsel, she is also present in court. There is, thus, no question of her being in illegal detention. In view of above, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition.
