*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. Observing that the Court is not inclined to grant the relief, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition, however, a direction be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously.
Learned State counsel submits that out of 12 prosecution witnesses cited the prosecution has examined 1 prosecution witness so far and the next date of hearing in the trial Court is 25.2.2021. Under the circumstances, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously by giving short adjournments and if either of the party seeks adjournment the same is to be granted for justifiable reason only which is to be recorded in writing. The State shall of course cause appearance of PWs in the Court on the date(s) fixed by the trial Court.
