In the present protection petition, after hearing the petitioners on 22.03.2023, this Court passed the following order:- "Present:

Mr. Rhythem Bajaj, Advocate for Mr. Sant Pal Singh Sidhu, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Mr. Anmol Singh Sandhu, AAG, Punjab on instructions from ASI Bua Singh.

**** Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Bua Singh, points out that one of the prayer of the petitioners is for transferring of the investigation in case FIR No.123, dated 23.06.2022, under Sections 341, 326, 148, 149 of IPC, registered at P.S. Division No.7, District Police Commissionerate Jalandhar, and recently, on 18.03.2023, investigation in the said case has been transferred to DSP (HQ.), Jagraon.

Faced with the situation, counsel for the petitioners prays for an adjournment to seek instructions. Adjourned to 30.05.2023. "

Today, counsel for the petitioners states that the main prayer regarding the transfer of investigation has been met with and same has been recorded by this Court in its order dated 22.03.2023. Regarding the other prayers, counsel for the petitioners states that he does not press the same, thus, submits that present petition may be disposed of having become infructuous.
