Mr. Avtar Singh Khinda, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.2 to 4 and filed his vakalatnama. The same is taken on record.

Through the instant petition under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the appellant seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.278 dated 12.05.2023, registered under Sections 323, 498-A, 506 of IPC and Section 3 SC/ST Act, 1989 at Police Station Ambala Cantt, District Ambala.

Vide order dated 19.06.2023 passed by this Court, the appellant was released on interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 4.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Investigating Officer states that the appellant has joined the investigation and he is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the said facts, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 19.06.2023 granting interim bail to the appellant is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
