(Oral) This is a petition seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for releasing the alleged detenue namely Jashanpeet, who is stated to be in illegally detention of respondents No.5 to 7. Learned State counsel submits that the alleged detenue is present in court. Her statement has been recorded. According to the same, she is residing with her parents at present of her own free will. There is no danger to her life.
Learned counsel appearing for respondents No.5 and 6 (parents of the girl) make the statement in similar terms. In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Dismissed.
