)/ Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue as Sweeper against vacant post.

Petition was filed in the year 2015 and when called out for hearing, learned counsel is unable to assist the Court for lack of instructions. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite attempts to establish contact with the petitioner at the given address, he was unable to do so. 3.

On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that per his instructions, petitioner has expired though learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to confirm the same.

It seems that by sheer effluxion of time and pendency of the writ petition for more than 6 years before this Court, it has been rendered infructuous and/or the petitioner seems to have lost interest in pursuing the same. 5.

Be that as it may, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to file an appropriate application in case, any cause of action still survives.          .
