Petitioner's dispossession was stayed vide order dated 04.08.2015 until the decision of its appeal which was statedly pending before the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab. The said appeal is informed to have been dismissed on 05.10.2015.

While the instant writ petition has thus been rendered infructuous, however, with a view to enable the petitioner to challenge the aforementioned order before an appropriate forum, it is directed that status quo re. possession be maintained till 31.10.2015.
