In this writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 4 to prevent the misuse of the Gram Panchayat, Matana Funds in the hands of respondents No.5 and 6, which they are using for the development works of an unauthorised colonies, though respondent No.3 specifically issued public notice dated 12.11.2013 (Annexure P-4), whereby the names of an unauthorised colonies have been informed in which respondents No.5 and 6 are spending huge money of the Gram Panchayat, Matana.

After arguing for some time, when the Bench was not agreeing with the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel prayed that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition.
