Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submissions only for fair investigation of case bearing FIR No.101 dated 14.06.2019 registered at Police Station Sidhwan Bet, Ludhiana for the offence punishable under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. He submits that under the garb of this FIR, police is trying to falsely implicate husband of the petitioner. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Ludhiana to look into the grievance of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of four months. However, it is made clear that the nothing observed in this order shall be taken as expression of opinion on merits of the allegations levelled by the petitioner.
