On 05.10.2020, the following order has been passed by this Court:- "The petitioner prays for grant of pre-arrest bail in a criminal case arising from FIR No.94, dated 31.08.2020, registered under Sections 323, 325, 354, 506, 148 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Balongi, District S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the orders passed in CRM-M-29765-2020 (Amarjit Singh vs. State of Punjab) and CRM-M29978-2020 (Balwinder Singh vs. State of Punjab).

Criminal Misc. No. M- 31077 of 2020 On the asking of this Court, Ms. Samina Dhir, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State. In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

To be heard alongwith CRM-M-29765-2020 and CRM-M29978-2020".

Ms. Samina Dhir, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, on the instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Bahadur Singh, has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation, co-operated and not required for further custodial interrogation.

In view of the aforesaid facts, the present petition is allowed and interim pre-arrest bail granted to the petitioner by this Court on 05.10.2020 is made absolute.
