The petitioner wants the nomination of respondent No.4 rejected on the ground that she attached bogus and forged certificate of Middle Class.

The Gram Panchayat election has already held on 24.01.2016 rendering this writ petition as infructuous. However, the petitioner has got the efficacious alternative remedy to file the election petition.

The instant writ petition is disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to institute the election petition, if so advised, however, keeping in view all the attending circumstances, the Election Tribunal is directed to ensure that the election petition, if so filed, is decided within six months. (4)
