Through the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (For short "BNSS"), the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0044 dated 21.06.2024 under Sections 379B, 34 IPC, 1860 and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 (Sections 411, 473, 379B(2) IPC added later on and Section 379(B) IPC deleted later), registered at Police Station Ladhuwal, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana, Punjab (Annexure P-1).

On 27.05.2025, following order had been passed: - "Learned counsel for the State seeks some more time to file reply.

The petitioner in the present case is stated to have been named in the present case on the basis of disclosure statement of his co-accused. No reply has come forth as directed vide order dated 19.05.2025 passed by this Court.

In the light of above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer as and when called upon to join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the MOHIT 2025.11.20 13:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-27162-2025 satisfaction of SHO/Investigating Agency, subject to the following conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS [erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.]:- i) that the petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required; ii) that the petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer;

iii) that the petitioner shall not leave India without the prior permission of the Court;

iv) such other condition as may be imposed under subsection (3) of Section 480, as if the bail were granted under that section. Adjourned to 05.08.2025." 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 27.05.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Baljeet Singh, has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated 27.05.2025 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
