NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The present contempt petition was filed for non-compliance of the order dated 26.06.2020 vide which a direction was issued to the respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner. Issue notice of motion.
Mr.Arihant Goyal, Central Government counsel for Union of India, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that the order has been complied with and the representation has been decided by passing a speaking order dated 09.10.2020. It is further stated that a copy of the order has also been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the above, nothing survives in the present contempt petition. The same is hereby dismissed.
However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the speaking order in accordance with law.
