(Oral) The challenge in this writ petition is to the impugned order (Annexure P-5), whereby, respondents/Excise Department, Punjab has ordered to close the liquor vend of the petitioner. 2.
It was not disputed that an appeal lies against the aforesaid impugned order. In the light of the same, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition. However, a prayer was made that the appellate authority may be directed to decide the appeal expeditiously.

Dismissed as withdrawn. It is, however, observed that in case such an appeal is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be decided by the concerned appellate authority expeditiously, in accordance with law.
