(ORAL) At the outset, a query was put to the learned counsel as to how a proclaimed offender is entitled to the concession of anticipatory bail, learned counsel has submitted that the order declaring the petitioner a proclaimed offender has been challenged before this Court and the matter is now pending consideration for 07.08.2025. 2.

On being further pointedly asked if the order declaring the petitioner proclaimed offender has been stayed, he has conceded that there was no stay in operation.

In the circumstances, when this Court was not inclined, a prayer was made by learned counsel for the petitioner for withdrawal of the instant petition at this stage.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
