Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that as per the procedure laid down, the petitioner is required to move appropriate application for release of family pension with supporting documents to the Treasury Office at Panchkula, from where her deceased husband was drawing the pension. On receipt of such application, appropriate action will be taken by the Treasury Office.

Since the said procedure has not been followed by the petitioner, learned counsel representing her seeks permission to withdraw the petition to submit the claim for family pension to the officer/authority concerned.
